Factions and Fortresses

The world is divided. Magic, strife, and misfortune have relegated nearly everyone to castles and keeps kept far from each other.

Vying for power, resources, and territory, each faction sends out their best to expand their influence. These knightly orders, mercenary bands, holy cults and warring gangs each have a chance to seize destiny.

The wilds are dangerous, monster-filled landscapes and the fortresses flanking them are political hot-spots of intrigue and deception.

But there are some who whisper that the world can still be saved. That rather than hate and division, unity and hope will bring salvation to the disparate people.
