Spliced: Rules for any Story
A downloadable game
Spliced is a setting-agnostic rule set. That means that it is made so that any table can tell the story they’d like to tell without having to worry about sticking to any ‘official’ lore or flavor. A game can be set in the trenches of WW1, fighting horrible zombies created by the gas warfare. Or you could play a game centered around college kids in the 1990s, trying to just kick back and have fun in a brightly-lit mall. Even still, you could all be engineers on a space station in the year 2099, fighting back against a mega-corporation using advanced robots to quell your uprising. You can recreate your favorite book, video game, movie, or other similar media but make new choices for the characters involved. Spliced provides rules so that the players and the GM have something to work off of to tell the story they want to tell.
Spliced is entirely d6 based, with easy-to-learn rules and an included character sheet. It is designed to be able to be used for any setting, genre, or tone imaginable.

So, I'm trying to understand how this works. You can emulate like any show, movie setting and play through it like a ttrpg? Is this system hard to use for say, solo play? If so, this could be something I've been waiting for!
It's primarily meant to be a multiplayer TTRPG, but I suppose you could use it for solo play - you'd just have to do the work of the GM and the player.
That being said, everything in the game from weapon and armor profiles to the various powers and abilities offered by Occupations (essentially the player's class) can be flavored to fit the preferred setting!
I've seen people use it for Metroid games, Sailor Moon, Bloodborne, Warhammer 40k AND Warhammer Fantasy, Bioshock and more! My number one priority was making it super adaptable.
Sounds awesome! I'm definitely going to buy a copy when I get paid. Too cool!
Exciting! May you show a little bit of it?
Gladly! I added some screenshots of the rulebook.
Thanks! <3
